Embarrassing Fashion Trends We Wish Would Disappear

The world has been through a lot when it comes to the fashion front. We have seen fashion fads that have stayed and others that haven't been top of the mark. However, there are some fashion trends that just won't disappear despite being borderline irritating. Here are some examples of these fashion trends that we hope disappear sooner or later.

Saggy Pants

The first decade of the 21st century saw a lot of new trends and fascinating fashion fads, but one fad that has literally stayed on till now is that of the saggy pants. These saggy pants started back in the day, and it's high time they disappeared.

Recent Updates

The pants are still trending as they used to do back in the day with people still wearing them around, wishing to show their Calvin Klein boxers. However, the law has now come into action as New Jersey has put out a fine of $1,000 on anyone seen wearing these.

Shoulder Pads

Women have had to do with a lot of weird trends that made the transition from the 20th century to the 21st. However, nothing beats the awkwardness of the trend of shoulder pads. These pads barely look fascinating and are painful to see.

Their Inception

These shoulder pads made their way into the world of fashion back in 1930, when they were added to the fashion collection to make women with big waists make them look small. It is now time that we left these pad homes and walked without them.

Legging as Pants

Another trend that made its way from the 20th century to the 21st is that of wearing leggings as pants. Leggings do not serve as an alternative to pants and wearing them like that is nothing short of a disappointment for onlookers.

Original Use

The best use of leggings is to wear them underneath a skirt or a dress, where they are basically invisible. But, with the latest trend women have started wearing them as an alternative to pants, which gives a complete view of the underwear underneath.

Crackows

How long have the crackows been tormenting humans for? They seem to belong from the medieval era and there is enough evidence to suggest that they are really looked down upon by many fashion gurus, who would want them to disappear.

Medieval Accessories

Crackows are one of the few fashion statements that have withered the test of time. They might have looked convenient back in the day, but now they look just plain ugly and not something you would want to have on your feet.

The Mullet

The Mullet is quintessentially a basic 70's look that men opted for when they went for styling their hair. The hairstyle had short hair in front and was long at the back. Although, the style was hit back in the day, it is high time it disappeared.

The Mullet's Charm

What can we say about the mullet? Women have for ages been wooed by this hairstyle and men revert back to it with expectations that they would still have the charm regardless of how the time has changed from the days when they were considered cool.

Harem Pants

It is hard to comprehend whether harem pants have ever been in a hit ever since they existed. They look pretty basic and it is evident by the looks of it that these pants are exaggerated. Why they're famous is complex to understand.

History

Harem pants were propelled or pushed into the mainstream fashion scene by MC Hammer, who used to wear them all the time. Women started liking them a lot and you can still expect some to wear them while waiting in a line for pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks.

Hoop Skirts

Hoop skirts have got to be the most audacious and the most uninspiring form of clothing ever. They look weird on people and don't make for comfort when the person is moving around on a subway or literally sitting down.

History

Hoop skirts were worn by women back in the 19 century to look small and petite, as was the trend back then. However, these skirts make one look really uncomfortable, which is why we would want to leave them in the past.
