Winona Ryder

Winona Ryder

If you don't recognize her by name alone, go and stand in the corner. Winona is a megastar and has been for at least two decades now. She also might be a vampire, because she doesn't seem to be changed by the passing of the years at all. She'd already become a star via her appearance in "Beetlejuice" by the time the 1990s arrived, but her role in Bram Stoker's "Dracula" in 1992 really sealed the deal for Winona as a major player.

An extremely gifted and delicately beautiful actress, Winona is known for employing the "method" approach to parts, which led to an arrest in 2001 for shoplifting. Having appeared in every genre of film imaginable, she first dipped her toes into the science fiction waters when she appeared in Alien: Resurrection in 1997. That stood her in good stead for her currently starring role in cult hit "Stranger Things", which has introduced her to a whole new viewing generation.

One of the cities featured in Booking.com’s travel trends for 2020, Urugay’s capital Montevideo is a stable and LGBT-friendly destination to visit in South America—a continent that’s seen dips in tourism of late thanks to political instability in travel destinations like Brazil, Chile, and Argentina. Travelers identified the city as a trending travel destination for anyone seeking an immersive, one-stop escape; according to the study, “over half (54 percent) of global travelers say they want to go on one long trip to a place that has all of their favorite activities and sights close together.” Montevideo’s offerings include beaches, nightlife, markets, theaters, culinary prowess, and festive Gay Pride Day celebrations in September.
