Another state that just so happens to be lacking in modern-day pro-wrestling talent is North Dakota but yet, there is a deserving member of the wrestling community that is able to take the honor of representing North Dakota in Rolland 'Red' Bastien. Hailing from Bottineau, North Dakota, Red Bastien also known as Texas Red made his pro-wrestling debut back in 1956. Bastien was known as a tag team act alongside his brother, Lou Bastien, and partners, Hercules Cortez and The Crusher.
The Bastien Brothers were able to become two-time American Wrestling Alliance Tag Team Champions. And Red was able to become a one-time American Wrestling Association Tag Team Champion alongside Hercules Cortez. His signature move was the figure-four leg lock and Red was Rowdy Roddy Piper's best man at his wedding. Unfortunately, Red Bastien passed away in August 2012 due to complications with Alzheimer's disease.
