Right in the center of our galaxy is a dust cloud called Sagittarius B2, and by focusing on this cloud with a radio telescope, researchers picked up traces of ethyl formate, which is the chemical that gives raspberries their flavor - but also when isolated, smells like rum. We wouldn't suggest doing so, though - also recorded within the cloud was propyl cyanide, which is lethal to humans.
