A while ago, they did a special project on gender-reversed superheroes, and asked people to not only flip the gender of superheroes, but also to cast a well-known celebrity in the role. That attracted the attention of artist Jordan Gibson, and this is his bold vision of a female Aquaman.
We think the celebrity can be identified from the image, but in case you're unsure it's Charlize Theron. What we think Gibson did so right was to make the design simple and effective instead of going overboard with costuming.
