Macchio's gang ends up killing a rival gang member, so he and his fellow gang member Ponyboy, played by C. Thomas Howell, go on the run so they don't get sentenced to death. My biggest question? Why is his name Ponyboy? Hopefully he doesn't give his friends pony rides.
