U.S. Whiskey A Go Go - historic nightclub in West Hollywood

Whiskey a Go Go is an iconic nightclub on the Sunset Strip in West hollywood. It opened in 1964 and has been a part of music history ever since. Many bands got their start at Whiskey A Go Go. Iconic bands like Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, Steppenwolf, and Van Halen. There are other Whiskey A Go Gos in Chicago and Washington DC. It is such an important part of music history that it was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.

Rock and roll isn't quite what it used to be. It used to be so reckless and crazy. Now it is much more tame, but a lot of that is actually a good thing. We have all seen great musicians get chewed up and spit out by drug abuse. New musicians are a little smarter about what they do.
