Tracey's name is so closely associated with "Growing Pains" that it's difficult to picture her in any other role than the one she made famous there, but she did have an extensive career elsewhere, too! She's worked in television from the 80s through to the present day, but playing Carol Seaver had a major impact on her life in every way imaginable.
Not only did she meet husband Roby Marshall whilst working on the show, she also developed anorexia, and battled with the disease publicly, being open and honest about it during a time when very few were. Having overcome the illness, she later went on to star in "For the Love of Nancy", a TV movie which explored the disease and its dangers. Almost unrecognizable from her youth now, she remains an activist and speaker for causes related to eating disorders, whilst continuing to act and raise her four children.
