Sean Kingston came on the R&B scene and took the world by storm with his single 'Beautiful Girls' in 2007. Despite being from Miami, Florida his family moved to Kingston, Jamaica where his outlook on life took shape and he developed a passion for music and songwriting. Ever since then, Kingston has been featured on a plethora of hip-hop and R&B tracks and continues to shine on all of his haters to this very day.
While enjoying the fruits of his labor, Kingston came very close to death in a jet ski accident in May of 2011. Sean Kingston smashed his jet ski into a pillar at high speeds and had to be rushed into emergency surgery where doctors discovered he had a torn aorta. Kingston described the incident as feeling a stabbing pain in his chest before he went unconscious in the water off of the coast of Miami. Luckily, he survived the incident and has continued to make music.
