George Lucas is worth a whopping $5.1 billion and that's for a good reason, after all, Lucas is responsible for the Star Wars franchise which has earned him the opportunity to create a conglomerate of films as well as a multitude of Academy Awards and accolades. George Lucas is also the curator of the Indiana Jones franchise alongside Steven Spielberg which some would say was ruined by the 2008 sequel known as The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull but, that's up for debate.
We could have potentially lost the filmmaker and all of these legendary film ideas would have gone down the drain when Lucas was hospitalized for over two weeks after a car accident when he was in high school. Lucas was close to death but was able to miraculously recover and become one of the greatest filmmakers of our generation.
