Chevy Chase is an OG cast member on the notorious Saturday Night Live! skit television series and also rose to prominence as Fletch via the National Lampoon's Vacation films, in which he was a part of five motion pictures. He later became a figure in the comedy realm and starred in a plethora of noteworthy films. But for all of you youngsters out there, you probably recognize Chevy from the hit television series, Community.
What many people don't know is that Chevy was almost worm food after an accident occurred while filming Modern Problems when he was electrocuted and rendered unconsciousness causing him to nearly meet his maker before being revived and coming back to consciousness. Whatever mishap happened on that set, hopefully, someone ended up on the unemployment line. We almost lost a legend.
