Drew Barrymore was born into the entertainment industry being that she's the granddaughter of the critically acclaimed actor, John Barrymore. Her initial breakout role started in the cult classic film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial as a child actor and since then has gone on to have one of the best runs in the Hollywood realm. Luckily, Barrymore was able to escape death herself thanks to her dog who had warned her and her then-husband, Tom Green, after a fire broke out in their home in the middle of the night. The fire that took place was so extravagant that it did more than $700,000 in damage to their home. Barrymore and Green could have easily died in that fire if it wasn't for man's best friend.
