The ideology and character development of James 'Kamal' Harris throughout his professional wrestling career is a troubling one. It's no secret that stereotypical, xenophobic, and racist rhetoric has been sprinkled throughout pro-wrestling since its conception, but the character known as Kamala might have been the wrestling realm's peak forms of racism. Kamala was a character known as 'The Ugandan Giant' who hailed from 'The Dark Continent' and was managed by his safari outfit-wearing handler, Friday.

Unfortunately, Harris' relationship with the WWE isn't the greatest as he's signed a class action lawsuit stating that the brand did not make its participants aware of the traumatic brain injuries that could occur while in action. Harris has also had some health issues that have set him back and is currently living in his hometown of Senatobia, Mississippi.
