David Letterman is one of the greatest late night television hosts of all time. His charisma, charm, communication skills have allowed him to garner millions of followers and admirers including some of the toughest athletes on the face of the planet. Some of which just so happen to be members of his favorite football team in the Indianapolis Colts. Throughout his illustrious career, David Letterman has been able to interview former Colts' Hall-of-Fame quarterback, Peyton Manning as well as forming a friendship current starting quarterback Andrew Luck.
Even though Letterman has officially gracefully bowed out of the late-night television circuit, it's still somewhat rare to catch the comedian on the sidelines at a Colts game. That still didn't stop the longest-serving late night TV host in American history from being invited to roast Peyton Manning at his statue unveiling in Indiana. Hopefully, we'll see more of Letterman supporting his boys in blue in the near future.
