Does anybody else remember being completely over the moon when these Slumdog Millionaire co-stars announced that they were a real-life couple? The chemistry that Dev Patel and Frida Pinto had on screen turned out to be legitimate, which is probably one of the reasons why the film turned out as well as it did. We didn't realize that Patel was so tall - a full nine inches taller than Pinto.
The pair first met in 2008 on the set of Slumdog Millionaire, a film that gave both actors international fame. After dating for six years, they announced their split back in 2014. Though much of the world hoped they would rekindle the flame, it never ended up happening for the couple. Fortunately, they remain good friends, but we're still kind of sad that their relationship didn't go the full distance.
