Their first film together was Jamon, Jamon in 1992, which was actually Cruz's breakthrough role.
The Spanish pair began dating in 2007 and got married in the Bahamas in 2010. By that point they had known each other for almost two decades. In 2013 they got to co-star again in blockbuster hit, Vicky Christina Barcelona alongside Scarlett Johansson. Cruz and Bardem have one son, born in 2011, and a daughter, born in 2013.
