Emily Vancamp is probably best known for playing Agent 13 in the 'Captain America' movies, and the figure must have stuck in her head. She handed over the sum of $1.3m for this Hollywood Hills mansion in 2009. It combines all the luxury and privacy of a mansion with a homely feel, almost looking like the sort of home that a regular person could own - until you see the pool in the yard, of course!
High walls and a strong tree line mean she gets to enjoy all the benefits of the pool in summer without having to worry about the press getting photos of her from street level.
