Simon Cowell is a man who needs no introduction. He's the one of the most successful - and rudest! - music producers and record label bosses of all time. He's also got so much money that he can afford to pay $8m for a house, and then knock everything on it down to start again. That's exactly what he did when he was building his dream home in Los Angeles.
The house is difficult to value, because clearly, it's now worth a lot more than it was when he bought the plot of land, but we'd conservatively estimate it to be worth somewhere around $29m. As you might expect, there's a fully functional media suite within the grounds, as well as a solarium for that perfect year-round tan. The one thing we can't find mention of is a recording studio. Surely there's one in there somewhere?
