If you know who Lynda Carter is, then I know what you're thinking: how was there ever a chance that she would be cast as the new Wonder Woman? That's because she was the old Wonder Woman in the television show. Even though she wasn't actually considered for the role, she naturally had her own opinions about who should be cast. She thought Sandra Bullock should take the role. Lynda Carter may have insight on the character in a way that no one else can, but that doesn't mean her choice would be good. Sometimes asking someone close to the character can be a bad idea.
It's not uncommon for reboots/remakes/redos to cast the former actors in cameo roles, so maybe we will see Lynda Carter in a future Wonder Woman movie. She won't be able to beat Stan Lee's number of cameos in a film. That's for sure.
