Is there any woman on film more believably badass than Michelle Rodriguez? When she crashes her car in the Fast and the Furious movies, you feel like she could have done it without a stunt double. Her brand is being a tough chick, but is it the kind of tough that Wonder Woman requires? I'd answer no. I feel like there is definitely a place for Michelle Rodriguez in the superhero genre, but it might not be Wonder Woman.
Michelle Rodriguez might not have the right height or vibe to play Wonder Woman. Even though height can be played around with in film (look at Tom Cruise for example), sometimes you just need a naturally tall actor to give a certain character the required presence. Michelle Rodriguez doesn't have that height, but maybe we'll see her fighting alongside WW one day, or maybe even against.
