Sacha Baron Cohen

Sacha Baron Cohen was one of the most controversial entertainment personalities of the early 2000s. Cohen's satirical take on society caused an uproar from certain communities especially when it came to his HBO television show, Da Ali G Show, in which he played three separate characters including the streetwise poser, Ali G, the Kazakh journalist, Borat Sagdiyev, and gay Austrian fashion enthusiast, Bruno Gehard. Eventually, all three characters starred in their own major motion pictures which became wildly popular all the while still remaining extremely controversial. Despite the controversy, Cohen still landed roles in the children's Madagascar movie series.

Sacha's Borat character shares a lot of visual similarities to Soviet Russian communist dictator, Joseph Stalin, who ultimately was responsible for hundreds of thousands of executions and millions of deaths due to famine in order to eradicate enemies of the working class. It could be a coincidence but, with a mind like Sacha Baron Cohen, we have a feeling this was done intentionally.
