Some cat breeds are super relaxed like that. The rag doll, for example. Can you imagine how it got its name? It's because it acts like a rag doll when you pick it up. This cat doesn't seem to mind that much. While some cats can't stand the reclined pose, other cats thrive in that pose. It's a very "manspready" pose. If a cat tried to sit like that on the subway, a feminist would write a blog about them.
