Arnett is a dual citizen of both Canada and the United States, having been born William Emerson Arnett in Toronto, Ontario on May 4, 1970. As such, he is an avid fan of both of Toronto's major sports teams: The Toronto Blue Jays of the MLB, and the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL.
