27. Chris Noth

Sure, he was Detective Mike Logan on "Law & Order" in the 1990s. And you may recognize him as Peter Florrick from "The Good Wife" (2009 - 2016). But we all know Chris Noth best as 'Big' from the hit HBO series "Sex and the City" and the blockbuster movies the show spawned. With good looks and an amazing head of hair like this, it's no wonder that Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw fell in love with the cigar-smoking, high-powered New York businessman.

Born Christopher David Noth on November 13, 1964 in Madison, Wisconsin, an interesting highlight in his early acting career includes a starring role in a low-budget film in Indonesia. Noth earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Yale School of Drama in 1985 and is noted to having studied under famed acting coach Sanford Meisner. It seems higher education in your field pays off, if Chris Noth's story is any example!
