Talk about all-star casts of the '90s! This film is full of some of our favorites, including Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg. Released in 1990, Ghost is considered a 'romantic fantasy thriller' which is a genre you don't see very much of. And we have to admit, it's a pretty weird storyline when you think about it. It managed to satisfy the critics, though - Ghost was nominated for five Academy Awards, and Whoopi Goldberg won one for Best Supporting Actress, as well as a Golden Globe.
If you haven't seen it, the plot of Ghost follows Moore's character, Molly Jensen, whose dead lover, played by Swayze, comes back as a ghost to warn her of impending danger. Swayze enlists the help of a psychic, played by Goldberg, who communicates with Molly. We told you it was weird!
