There is, of course, no other film that could have taken out this top spot - Dirty Dancing is absolutely number one when it comes to girly, feel-good movies. It has romance, dancing, and enough drama to satisfy even the toughest critics.
Dirty Dancing follows the story of Baby (Jennifer Grey) as she falls in love with the resort dance instructor, Johnny (Swayze) while on a family vacation. Though released in 1987, the film is set in the summer of 1963. Dirty Dancing won plenty of awards, including the Academy Award for best original song ('I've had' the time of my life), as well as the Golden Globe Award for the same category.
