Starring Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Mandy Patinkin, Chris Sarandon, Wallace Shawn, André the Giant, and Christopher Guest, this film takes us far away to a fantasy world.
Farm worker Westley must rescue his true love, Princess Buttercup, from an evil prince. Along the way, he makes friends who accompany and support him on the journey. The cutest thing about this film is that the story of Westley is being read from a book back in the real world, by a grandfather to his sick grandchild. The Princess Bride didn't really do that well in terms of box office takings but has become a cult classic over time.
