One thing we can give this chick flick credit for is the unique storyline. Starring Emma Stone, as well as two of our other favorites, Amanda Bynes and Lisa Kudrow, Easy A is a high school romantic comedy, with a lot of gossip thrown in for good measure. Released in 2010, the film received good reviews, as well as surprisingly high profits at the box office.
The story is centered around main character, Olive (Stone), who lies to her friend about why she can't attend a camping trip by saying she was with a boy. Somebody overhears and the rumor spreads like wildfire, sparking the diminishing of Olive's previously good reputation. She eventually begins pretending she has slept with certain students in exchange for gifts, in order to boost their popularity. As you can imagine, there's plenty of drama.
