It must be such a weird feeling to have played one of the most iconic TV characters of the '90s. Jaleel White portrayed the nerdy Steve Urkel in Family Matters and became an instant sensation. In fact, he went from a supporting character to the main character because of how popular he was. Everybody remembers the line "Did I do that?" and Jaleel White was the one who really brought it all to life.
Funnily enough, White was almost a star on The Cosby Show before someone else was chosen instead of him. But as it turned out, everything worked out for the best! White hasn't starred in anything major since Family Matters, but he has appeared in the film Dreamgirls, as well as television shows Boston Legal, House, Psych, and Dancing with the Stars.
