44. Jeff Bridges

As far as getting off to a good start goes, Jeff Bridges couldn't have done better. His first role was on the 1950 film, The Company She Keeps, when he was just four months old. This was all thanks to his father, Lloyd Bridges, but he soon showed the world that he was indeed a talented actor. Throughout his childhood he appeared in his dad's television shows, Sea Hunt and The Lloyd Bridges Show.

Once he was all grown up, his first major role in a film was in 1971's The Last Picture Show. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his part but didn't win. Since then, he has starred in Tron, Kiss Me Goodbye, Starman, Fearless, Blown Away, The Big Lebowski, and Crazy Heart (for which he won an Oscar), as well as many others.
