When she was just five years old, Jodie Sweetin was cast in the wildly successful sitcom, Full House. As an actor with great comedic delivery, she stole the show as Stephanie Tanner, the middle sister. She stayed on the show until it ended in 1995 and then completed her high school studies. Unfortunately, like many other child stars, Sweetin turned to drugs not long after Full House finished up. She was only 14 and she claims it was because she was bored.
Her substance abuse problems almost certainly account for her acting career going south. Since recovering, she has reentered the entertainment industry, but nothing has really stuck. One good thing is that she has reprised her role as Stephanie Tanner in the Full House revival, Fuller House. The show has been well received and is still running.
