Peter Billingsley is another former child actor who began his career with television commercials. Hey, we all have to start somewhere, right? As a boy in the '70s, he appeared in a commercial for Hershey's Chocolate Syrup. He only moved up from there and caught his big break playing Ralphie in the film, A Christmas Story. Since the '80s, Billingsley has enjoyed modest success, but he never starred in anything major again, so he didn't quite hit the big time, so to speak. He now works as a producer and a director, as well as continuing to act. He has worked behind the scenes with The Discovery Channel and he was also executive producer of blockbuster film, The Break-Up. He was even nominated for an Emmy Award as executive producer of the show, Dinner for Five.
