Famous for the Ozark Mountains, jazz and blues, delicious barbecues, and perfectly brewed beer, Missouri is one of those states that simply doesn't seem threatening when you think about it. Coming in at the 15th lowest for median household income and 20th lowest for unemployment, these statistics are somewhat unremarkable.
