Cage wasn't the only person interested in buying this prized item - he got into a bidding war with Leonardo di Caprio at an auction, who eventually backed out when the asking price reached $276,000. That was too rich for di Caprio's blood, and so the Tyrannosaurus head ended up in Cage's hands.
Unfortunately for Cage, he wasn't allowed to keep it for the long term. The man who presented it for auction was later forced to admit that he'd stolen the skull, and it was actually the property of the Mongolian Government.
