While not as severely artistic as the other entries on this list, who are we to judge art? After all, it's subjective. At least we can all agree that this light saber is a really cute way to cover up a scar.

Back

This insanely painful looking wound on someone's back was transformed into something beautiful. With the pain this person must have been through, it's nice that a tattoo artist was able to restore them in some way and give them a renewed sense of self.

King Cobra

Here, a mighty cobra is used to cover up from a mighty painful looking wound. It's really amazing what ink can do when we let our bodies serve as walking canvases for professionals to decorate--especially when it is able to hide our past pain.

Masked

Scars are a permanent reminder of past incidents, and for this person to continue with their life it is important to leave behind their ways of self harm. What the tattoo artist has done here is allowed this person to leave behind their scars.

Spine

The results here speak for themselves and really are absolutely amazing. You can't even see the site of the original wound on this person's back, because it has been masterfully covered in an extremely tasteful way by the artist involved.

Turtle

The turtle that is now on this person's foot looks absolutely amazing, it's almost impossible to tell it was ever the site of an injury. Seriously, it just looks like a really cool tattoo of a turtle and no one would know any different unless told.
