Aphne Rubin-Vega plays the role of Gloria Perez, who is Ray's character in the movie. During the movie's various plot twists, Gloria is worried that something else may be going on behind the scenes, but sadly her character gets too little information, too late, which is why she couldn't do much to stop Ray's and Suzie's schemes to set up Sam Lombardo, or any of the other characters.
Aphne was born in Panama, but that didn't stop her from making a name for herself in Hollywood. She played a key role in Philip Seymour Hoffman's debut movie, called "Jack Goes Boating." Before that movie, Aphne had a small role in "Flawless," with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Robert De Niro. In recent years, she had a recurring role in season two of "Smash," where she played as Eileen Rand's publicist.
