Riddles

Riddles are considered as a good way to not only keep your mind active and going, but also to keep you on track for glory in life. Here we take a look at some riddles that have been astounding mankind and are particularly difficult.

Question 1

Imagine that a murderer was sentenced to death and could go in three rooms. The first one had a raging fire, the second was full of killers with guns and the third one had lions who were hungry since 3 years. Which would be the safest?

3rd Room

The 3rd room would be the safest one out of the lot to opt for, since it has lions that have been hungry for 3 years. Lions that are hungry since 3 years would probably not be alive to begin with, so yeah.

Question 2

One girl was sitting for a breakfast with a cup full of coffee right in front of her. Mistakenly she dropped her ring inside the coffee. However, the ring still stayed dry and had no signs of any coffee on it.

Beans

The answer to this is that the cup full of coffee right in front of the woman was full of coffee beans to begin with. These coffee beans are dry and had no liquid to them, which is why the ring stayed dry.

Question 3

Now that you have progressed further, you are required to partake in a rather difficult question. Which is that one area where there are rivers but no water, forests but no trees and cities but no buildings in it?

Map

This question does seem tricky, which is why you will have to take out a map. Now, where is this place really located at? The answer lies not in the map, but on the map. The map of the world is the right answer to this question.

Question 4

This thing is handed to every person only 3 times in their life. The first two times they are not required to pay for it, but once they get it for the third time, they pay for it. What is it that we are talking of?

Smile

We're giving you a hint here. The answer to this question can be found when you smile. The answer lies in you smiling and what is shown when you do so. Yes, you guessed it right; your teeth are the answer.

Question 5

There obviously needed to be some math included in this riddle test as people have a good sense of what they are doing. The math here is completely easy. What do you have when you divide 30 by ½ and add 10 to it?

Reciprocal

The answer for this question lies in the method of reciprocal fractions that we studied about as kids. Whenever there is such a scenario, the number is multiplied by the figure under the fraction. This gives us 60 + 10, which is 70.

Question 6

The king wanted his 3 daughters to boil water on teapots. Whoever's water was to boil the fastest would become a direct heir. The youngest daughter was the first to have her water boil, although she didn't wanna get married, why?

Checking Water

The other two sisters continuously kept checking the level of water in the teapots by lifting the lids. This was the reason that the water they had didn't boil as fast as it should have done without them checking.

Question 7
