This is a photo from a production of Troilus and Cressida. This was just her fourth production with the group where she played Cressida, one of the lead roles. For those unfamiliar with this specific Shakespeare joint, it is about a girl, Cressida, who teases a character named Troilus, only to later fall for him, and then eventually leave him for someone else.
Critics liked Mirren's performance in this production, but they weren't keen on the play as a whole. That must be a conflicting review for an actor. It is great to get the compliment, but at the end of the day, you'd rather have the entire production be a success.
