Floyd Mayweather And Justin Beiber Beef Explodes To a Whole New Level

Kylie Perry August 30th 2017 Entertainment
Justin Bieber and Floyd Mayweather Jr. became pals years ago and their friendship blossomed into a beautiful bromance. Not only did The Biebs attend a couple of Mayweather's biggest events, but he also trained with the famed boxer. The two were pretty much inseparable. Back in 2015, Bieber made headlines when he showed up to support Mayweather in Las Vegas. As Mayweather walked into the ring to meet Manny Pacquiao, it was Bieber who carried his championship belt. But recently, their relationship has tapped out, and no one knows why. Until now! Here is what you need to know about this failed bromance.
Bieber's church may have been behind the failed relationship
At this point in time, no one knows the exact reason that Justin Bieber decided to slowly back away from Floyd Mayweather Jr. Bieber has been an avid church-goer for a couple of years now. He is heavily involved at the Hillsong Church and reports indicate that it was his beliefs that made him take a step back to reevaluate his life -- and the people in it. According to TMZ, Bieber made an effort to "reset boundaries" with the people in his life, and that included Mayweather. Bieber supposedly unfollowed him on social media as a way to better his life.
Perhaps it had to do with Mayweather's unhealthy obsession with money -- or with strip clubs -- two things that aren't very Godly, so-to-speak. Or perhaps Bieber just realized that he's a kid and he shouldn't be hanging around a 40-year-old man who has a different lifestyle than him. Who knows? How does Mayweather feel about all this? Find out next.
Mayweather is pissed
As you can probably imagine, Mayweather has a pretty inflated ego (and maybe that's an understatement). The guy has loads of money and he's been untouchable for most of his career. Having a 23-year-old kid unfollow him on social media made him pretty mad. Like, really mad. Sources told TMZ that Mayweather went "insane" after the Biebs clicked the old "unfollow" button. Mayweather even called Bieber a "traitor" and said that Bieber "betrayed" him.
Unfollowing someone on social media is such a big deal these days. However, pissing Mayweather off was a risk that Bieber was willing to take. It's safe to say that Bieber wasn't in attendance at the super fight between Mayweather and Conor McGregor. In fact, the Biebs made a comment about the fight a couple of weeks ago that got the Mayweather camp all kinds of fired up. Read on to find out what he said.
Bieber thought McGregor stood a decent chance
Perhaps the ultimate slap in the face in this whole broken BFF fiasco happened when Bieber made a comment a few weeks ahead of the fight. Paparazzi caught up with The Biebs and asked him if he thought that McGregor would be knocked out by Mayweather. Bieber's response? "I don't think so." Needless to say, that angered quite a few people and Mayweather's dad had a few things to say about it.
"Woah, woah... Justin Bieber, you understand me, he don't even know boxing. He know Floyd, but he don't know Floyd like I know him," Mayweather Sr. told TMZ Sports. Mayweather Sr. was then asked if McGregor goes the distance with Mayweather, would it be a victory for Conor. Sr.'s response? "Hell no. That ain't no victory for him cause he goes the distance getting your *ss whooped." People betting on McGregor to win are "crazy" said Sr.
